`SALEM LUTHERAN SCHOOL NAMED BLUE RIBBON`

On November 10, 2005, Salem Lutheran School was honored and awarded with the "Blue Ribbon School" status in Washington D.C.

Thanks to our wonderful teachers and hard working students, our school was the recipient of the Blue Ribbon Award for its Accademicaly Superior students who had achieved in the top 10 percent of the nation.

The Blue Ribbon School status is a part of the No Child Left Behind (NCLB) program and is awarded by the U. S. Secretary of Education Margaret Spellings.

To share this honor with her staff and specially students, Mrs. Huleis, our school principal, held a memorable celebration on Wednesday, November 30, at 10:15 a.m. in school Sanctuary.
